NOTE: Varis hoods are designed to function with the factory hood latch, hood pins not required. Aerocatch latches recommended but not required for high-speed or track use. Professional clear coating or paint matching is required for installation. The carbon fiber used on the demo car is 12K carbon fiber, but the actual product will be 3K twill carbon fiber.

The Varis Carbon+ Cooling Bonnet for the FL5 Honda Civic Type R is engineered to improve cooling compared to the restrictive OEM design, helping the engine bay shed heat more effectively under hard street or track use. Built with Varis proprietary Carbon+ construction, it prioritizes weight reduction and rigidity by pairing a vacuum-molded carbon surface for a dry-carbon-like appearance with a reinforced FRP inner structure for strength and stability. Supplied with duct covers and aluminum mesh, this bonnet delivers a functional, track-focused upgrade that also elevates the FL5's front-end presentation.
