Description

The SSR Type-C FORGED is a purpose-built wheel born from circuit development, combining strength, rigidity, and lightweight performance in a sleek, functional form. Its short-spoke design enhances concavity and brake clearance, while the machined center ensures rigidity with minimal weight. The thin flange and reinforced inner rim reflect SSR's motorsport heritage, balancing durability and impact resistance. Knurled bead seats improve tire grip under high load. Features:

Spoke
- The spokes are highly balanced in terms of rigidity, strength, and light weight. They are compatible with the brake calipers of modern vehicles, and are connected to the rim and center in the shortest possible distance, resulting in a functional and lean cross-sectional design. Furthermore, by taking into account the load input from the tire, the joint position with the rim has been optimized, giving the spokes a more concave feel and a bold visual.

Center
- The center part is lightweight with minimal thickness while maintaining rigidity. Lightweight is a priority, and the center cap is optional. Type-C FORGED is also designed for circuit use. It is designed with functionality on the circuit in mind frequent wheel changes.

Flange
- Like the spokes and center, the flanges are also made as thin as possible to keep them lightweight. The inner rim incorporates all the experience gained on the circuit, and is designed to be highly rigid and resistant to impacts in the event of an accident. In addition, "SSR" and "FORGED" are engraved with ultra-precision by machining. The logo, which shines with the natural luster of aluminum, is an accent.

Knurling Finish
- In harsh motor sports where hard braking and full throttle are repeated, the adhesion between the wheel and the tire is important to transmit power to the road surface without loss. For this reason, Type-C FORGED has knurling on all sizes to suppress tire slippage. It maximizes the characteristics of both lightweight wheels and high-grip tires.

Forging Technology
- The billets cut to size are pressed in a 10,000 ton ultra-high pressure forging machine to form a high density metal structure. Then, the rim is shaped by applying more pressure through spinning. The completed high strength and lightweight wheel material is then cut out by high precision machining to form the Type-C design.
